Jaylasha has been accepted to Jackson State University and plans to become a dentist. While at Riverside, she had a job as a nursing home aide and was involved in after school service. In her essay Jaylasha stated that “Riverside is a great school that prepares you for the real world and directs their students into the right path. With all the support and love I received these past years I wouldn’t have wanted to be in any other high school.” 

Teachers described Jaylasha as conscientious, bright, kind, respectful, hard working and tenacious.
