 The Foundation also provides monies that support faculty, staff, administrators at RUHS in providing the best education experience possible. To that end, The Foundation’s contributions include the following:

• $38,000 to Riverside faculty for the purchase of teaching tools such as computers, smart-boards, etc.
• $300 toward grants for student leadership training
• $4,060 for the annual student tour of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
• $500 for RUHS wellness program
• $1,000 for the student Europe tour
• $2,400 towards costumes for the Swing Choir
• $6,500 in donations solicited from donors to upgrade the football program
• Approximately $1,500 in donations received to ensure that all Advanced Placement students could take the national exam
• More than $13,000 in donations received for the installation of the outdoor digital message sign

With the support of donors, both individual and groups, The Foundation will continue to position Riverside, so it reflects the college-bound mission of the school. We want every student to believe every day: “It’s a great day to be a Tiger!”
