Xandra was a member of the National Honor Society and worked as an IT intern at Riverside her junior and senior years. She has always been interested in technology and appreciated her experiences at Riverside, especially in the Project Lead the Way Engineering and Computer Science courses. Outside of the classroom, Xandra studied with the other Riverside interns for IT certification and started a non-profit organization to teach others about the “joys of computing.” She was given the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing 2020 Wisconsin Affiliate Award and received an honorable mention from NCWIT in 2019.

Xandra’s technology teacher writes, “She is thorough and thinks about a situation from multiple perspectives. She is persistent and never stops trying to learn.”
